It supports graduates to maximise their full potential when leaving University. The company wants everyone to experience the advantages of, access to and also governance of Artificial General Intelligence to be globally and reasonably distributed throughout the world.

The tool can be used for free, once you have signed up using your Google account. A premium subscription, known as ‘ChatGPT Plus’, includes access to aspects such as ChatGPT 4 (a more sophisticated type of the model) and quicker feedback.

In order to have this two-way conversation on the screen, as with ChatGPT, you need to create an account and log in. 

The second ChatGPT alternative is WriteSonic. This makes and controls content. It consists of writing articles, making summaries, building upon the current content, making descriptions, composing adverts for private websites or items, website copy and even idea creation.

Human strategies for problem-solving such as data collection and seeking expert advice come from job experience. There is no doubt that ChatGPT and equivalents are going to change the way we research and access information in the future.

They will support us with our story-telling, whether within job applications, interviews or in the role. 

The decision to provide this tool free of charge means that the playing field is even for those without access to libraries and online paid resources such as LinkedIn Learning supporting personal growth.

However, I am slightly cynical about the philanthropy that I am describing. Already we have premium versions of the software. In the future, we will start to see a financial divide between the quality of data that is accessed. For this reason, we need to maintain access to knowledge from as many sources as possible so that we remain in control of our personal growth.
