Never mind the cost, look at the dividend.
Why fees for Graduate Coach training should be regarded as an investment, not a cost.
We admit it. Our six-stage coaching programme doesn’t come cheap. But we urge those paying for it not to simply count the cost, but instead to treat the outlay as an investment – an investment that comes with a valuable guaranteed dividend: a graduate-level job on completion. Are we foolhardy to offer such a guarantee? We don’t think so, for a number of reasons.
First, thoroughness. On average every grad we train receives 300 hours of one-to-one tuition. We figure that if at the end of it, they’re not job-fit they never will be. But they always are.
Second, experience. We’ve been doing this, and nothing but this, for 15 years. Our founder, Chris Davies, is an ex-adman. He has brought to bear his experience of leading pitch teams to mould the coaching programmes that Graduate Coach employ. And the results speak for themselves.
Third, our track record. Since 2008 we have coached over 5,000 grads into graduate-level jobs. Last year alone, a record year, we helped 54 of our grads into top jobs. Along the way have earned more than 90 five-star reviews on Google.
Fourth, knowledge. Our knowledge of today’s job market remains unparalleled. We know every graduate job sector inside out and which particular skill sets employers in those sectors seek.
In addition, we offer a digital internship to all grads who sign up for our six-stage coaching programme. This will endow them with digital fluency, increasingly demanded by employers. Mention of our internship will also enhance their CVs and add to their perception of their employability skills.
Our help doesn’t stop when our grads land a job, either. We continue to mentor our alumni in the workplace. We help them negotiate pay rises, tell them when to move jobs and when not to, and offer advice on problems such as how to deal with a toxic boss.
Generally, within two years of working with us, our grads are earning an average of £55,000 a year. And that includes international students, many of whom we have helped into graduate-level employment in the UK.
This success at coaching graduates into jobs has led to our founder, Chris Davies, writing two books that compile the methods adopted by Graduate Coach over the past 15 years, The Student Book and The Graduate Book. We also offer online courses, including one that’s entirely free, in partnership with FutureLearn.
Graduate Coach is regarded as the leading graduate coaching company in the UK. We hope after reading this blog you’ll understand why – and why our fees deserve to be seen as an investment, not a cost – an investment that guarantees the priceless dividend of a plum job.
