Whose fault is it you can’t find a graduate job?

Jul 8, 2015

If you’re struggling to find a graduate job you’re not alone.

Once again we see the release of figures showing that one third of graduates are in jobs that don’t require a degree, and most of them low paid. Are you one of them? If so, according to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), you’re likely to be working in sales or a customer services related occupation, which at 11% accounts for the largest group in the non-professional occupations. Although as HESA says this is only an early indication of a career that could change over time it’s still unacceptable for a graduate to pay thousands and thousands of pounds for a university level education only to be denied the opportunity of a position that reflects that investment.
