Digital PR Agent & Coach

I graduated with a first-class degree in Business Economics from the University of Hertfordshire in 2018. However, the journey towards my current role started back in 2012, when I aspired to become a Pharmacist.

I did everything in my power to boost my chances of getting accepted into pharmacy school – worked in a pharmacy part-time for two years, attended networking events and, of course, took the required A-level subjects.

However, it turned out that I absolutely sucked at chemistry! I completely failed my first year of A-levels and subsequently had to leave sixth form. Reluctant to give up my dreams of becoming a pharmacist, I enrolled in a college and re-sat my exams. This time I aced them and got five offers to study pharmacy- happy days, right’) Wrong. I still struggled tremendously with chemistry and late one night I re-evaluated my skills and interests.

The next morning. I woke up and made the bold decision to cancel my pharmacy offers. I realised I wasn’t destined to become a pharmacist. I didn’t know what I was going to do and to make things worse my grades plummeted. Determined to not allow a few exam results to determine my fate, I managed to get a place at university and vowed that I’d do whatever it takes to get a 1st class degree and boost my employability, so that employers would overlook my A-levels.

I'm extremely passionate about helping students and recent graduates to get the right guidance and support through graduate coaching.
